City Center Tour

We begin our City Center Tour of Lisbon from the lively Praça do Camões, where the first taste is an iconic sweet: pão de Deus, soft and fragrant, a truly indulgent start to our walk. From here, we dive into the heart of Chiado, the city's literary nook, amid historic cafés and bookstores that recount centuries of culture and creativity.

We continue to the Carmo Church, a silent witness to the devastating 1755 earthquake and the historic Carnation Revolution of 1974. Nearby, we'll admire the imposing Santa Justa Lift, an icon of Lisbon's urban ingenuity, before descending to Baixa and crossing its main squares: Restauradores, Largo de São Domingos, and Rossio, where we'll savor salgados, the typical Portuguese appetizer.

From the city's commercial heart, we venture into Mouraria, an authentic neighborhood rich in history, to taste one of Lisbon's best bifanas, a succulent symbol of local cuisine. Continuing on, we'll pass by the ruins of the Roman Theater and reach Alfama's most iconic viewpoints, enjoying breathtaking panoramas, followed by another tasting at the foot of São Jorge Castle.

The tour ends in the charming São Cristóvão neighborhood, where we'll sample bacalhau paired with a typical drink in one of the city's most evocative fado pockets, amid music and authentically Lisboeta atmospheres.
